The tournament is an opportunity to celebrate diverse backgrounds and cultures through the universal language of soccer.

By participating in the tournament, players engage in physical activity while having fun and building friendships. 

Teamwork and Camaraderie: 

The tournament strengthens local connections and fosters a spirit of teamwork and camaraderie among participants.

Venue: 

Forest Heights Collegiate Soccer A1 field, 

Located at: 255 Fischer Hallman Rd, Kitchener.

 Everyone above the age of 18+ can participate. 

Families & Friends: 

Friends and family teams are encouraged to participate, promoting togetherness and fun in the tournament.

Student Participation: 

College and university students are invited to join, fostering camaraderie and healthy competition among peers.

Workplace Colleagues: 

Workplace colleagues can form teams to encourage teamwork and strengthen relationships outside the office.

Community Associations: 

Community and cultural associations are welcome to participate, enhancing community spirit and cultural exchange.

Team Structure: 

Each team will comprise between 7 - 10 players, allowing for sufficient rotation and active participation throughout the matches. 

Match Structure: 

The matches will adopt a 7-on-7 or 7 vs 7, and 3 Substitute player format, fostering rapid action and collaboration on a compact field. 

Players' Position: 

Every match will include one goalkeeper and 6 players (7 regular players on each side). A player could be substituted twice in a match (x2 Maximum).

Match Stages 

, Round 16: 8 matches - The tournament features 16 teams, comprising at least 144 players and up to 160 players. Each team will play a 20-minute match at this stage.

Quarter Final: 4 matches - The knockout phase starts with home and away games, leading to one-legged knockout matches.  (20 mins /match)

Semi-final: 2 matches - Similar to the quarter-finals, starting with home and away games, followed by one-legged knockout matches.  (20 mins /match)

Final: 1 match – Knockout to determine the champion. (30-minute match)

Note

In case of a draw, 10 minutes of extra time will be played, followed by a penalty shootout of 5 attempts per team if necessary.
